Everything you need before your first visit.

Whether you're here for back pain relief, recovery from an injury, or to sharpen your golf performance, the goal is the same: lasting results, not just temporary relief. Here's how the first visit works and the answers to the questions we hear most.

What to Expect

Your first visit, step by step.

Plan on about an hour. You'll get a real evaluation and hands-on treatment the same day — no waiting weeks just to get started.

1

Consultation & evaluation

A detailed conversation about your health history, goals, and any current pain or limits — followed by a functional movement screen, plus a TPI body-swing assessment if you're a golfer.

~60 minutes
2

Hands-on treatment

You're treated on day one. Depending on what you need, that may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy (myofascial work, IASTM, dry needling, cupping), spinal decompression, or corrective exercises.

3

Your personalized plan

A plan built around your specific goals — from pain relief to performance — with a realistic timeline we map out together and adjust as you progress.

You'll always know why we're doing each step — and you'll leave with simple home exercises to keep your progress going between visits.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we hear most.

Do I need X-rays before treatment?

Not always. We only recommend imaging if it's medically necessary. Most patients can safely begin care without them.

How many visits will I need?

Every patient is different. Most feel meaningful relief within their first 4 to 5 visits. How long lasting results take depends on what's driving the problem and how long it's been building — we'll lay out a clear plan and timeline at your evaluation, review your progress regularly, and adjust as you go.

Do you take insurance?

We're a cash-based practice, which lets us give you longer visits, one-on-one care, and customized treatment without insurance restrictions. We can provide a superbill you may submit for out-of-network reimbursement. No physician referral is needed to book.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly — no physician referral required.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, athletic-style clothing is best so you can move freely during evaluations and exercises.

Do you only treat golfers?

No. While we specialize in golf performance and the body-swing connection, we treat athletes and active people of all ages and backgrounds — from weekend warriors to everyday desk workers.

Do you treat kids and teens?

Yes. We see active kids and teen athletes, school age and up — for sport injuries, growth-related aches, overuse from year-round training, and junior golf performance. A parent or guardian attends the evaluation and consents to care.

What if I just want pain relief, not performance training?

That's perfectly fine. Many patients start with pain relief, and once they feel better, they choose to continue for injury prevention or performance gains. We'll meet you where you're at.

Can I bring my child or family member?

Yes — you're welcome to bring someone along to your appointment if it makes you more comfortable.
